I've had an obsession with bicycles ever since I was a child. I learned to ride a bike at the age of three and have loved them ever since. For as long as I can remember I've used them both for fun and transportation (which is also fun, let's be honest). I raced BMX bikes when I was in grade school. In high school I started riding road bikes after school. I got in to racing road bikes in college and did so casually for a few years, never really taking is seriously. In 2012 I was invited to join a local team and I raced with them on and off for about two years. In 2019 I decided to switch it up a little bit and try my hand at triathlon. I did fairly well but the training schedule was more than I enjoyed so I stopped at the end of the season. Now I mostly ride for fun with a bit of racing mixed in but I don't take myself too seriously. I mostly ride now as a mode of transportation, having moved in town and ditching my car. I also enjoy bike packing and touring, long distance kind of stuff.
